SLICE OF LIFE: DAY 16/31--And a Good Book

Ordering books is sometimes an obsession with me. Today I succumbed to that obsession. I bought three new professional books. The catalogue from Stenhouse Publishers arrived this weekend. I viewed with excitement and dog-eared the pages where I found interesting books. Today I took a few moments and looked at those books closer. Yes, they were ones I really thought I wanted, maybe even needed!!

Here is what I found:

  • The CAFE Book by Gail Boushey and Joan Moser...The Sisters. It isn't out yet, but I have it on hold.

  • Reading for Real by Kathy Collins...if it is by Kathy it HAS to be good!!

  • One Child at a Time by Pat friend Julia N. recommended this, so I just had to get it!

Sometimes a Slice of Life is waiting for the future and a good book!

Great suggestions. I wish I could figure out how to get through all the prof books in my pile. I just bought Barry Lane's new book at MRA today. I love how you shared your thought process.

I haven't heard of any of those books. I just bought Georgia Heard's "Revision Toolbox" (I think that is the name) and am really enjoying it.

Thanks Cathy,
Now that I have a Kindle, it's cut down my book obsession but not collecting more titles in this new techie way. Do you have one?

I am so irritated when I got onto Amazon and bought some new books. As soon as I checked out, I found another book that I wish I had always happens!

Let me know what you think of Kathy's book!
